Privacy Policy ‍

Last updated: July 2026

This website is operated by Harrison Martin, an independent artist trading as hmom.art, based in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact me directly at harrison@hmom.art.

What information I collect

I collect personal information only when you choose to provide it — through the contact form, the print drop email signup, or when placing a purchase. This may include:

  • Your name and email address

  • Your mailing or shipping address (for print fulfilment)

  • Payment information — processed securely by Stripe, not stored by this website

  • Any message content you submit through the contact form

In addition, Squarespace — the platform that hosts this website — automatically collects certain technical data when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is standard practice for all websites and is used to keep the site running correctly.

How I use your information

Your information is used only for the following purposes:

  • To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form

  • To notify you about the limited edition print drop, if you have signed up for updates

  • To process and fulfil your order, including shipping prints to your address

  • To send you a confirmation of your purchase

I do not use your information for marketing beyond what you have explicitly signed up for, and I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for their own purposes.

Third party services

This website uses the following third party services to operate:

  • Squarespace — website hosting, analytics, and email capture. Squarespace's own privacy policy applies to data they process on your behalf.

  • Stripe — payment processing. All payment information is handled securely by Stripe. I do not store or have access to your full card details at any time. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

  • Google Workspace — email communication. Emails you send to harrison@hmom.art are received and managed through Google's platform.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data. I encourage you to review them if you have concerns.

Cookies

This website uses cookies — small files placed on your device — to help the site function correctly and to collect basic analytics about how visitors use the site. These cookies are placed by Squarespace and are standard across all websites built on their platform.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time, though doing so may affect how the site displays or functions. A cookie notice is displayed when you first visit the site, giving you the option to accept or decline non-essential cookies.

How long I keep your information

I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected — for example, to complete and deliver your order, or to send you the print drop notification you signed up for. Once that purpose is fulfilled, your data is not retained beyond what is required for basic record keeping and legal compliance.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to the personal information I hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and to withdraw any consent you have given at any time. If you are located in the EU or UK, additional rights under GDPR apply, including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact me directly at harrison@hmom.art and I will respond promptly.

Data security

I take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. No sensitive financial information passes through or is stored on this website.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in how the site operates or in applicable law. The date at the top of this page will always reflect when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
